About Johnson's On The Water

Mike started Johnson's On The Water in 2000 in his shop at his lake home north of Park Rapids with a dream of having a physical location where he could make a living doing what he loves; fixing boats and helping people get back on the water. That is where the name "Johnson's On The Water" came from as his original place of business was on Boot Lake. In 2004 that dream came true when he purchased Bob's Business in Dorset, MN which is located 10 minutes outside of Park Rapids. This is where he continues to service around a 1000 boats a year, sells two bass boat brands and two pontoon brands with his crew of 11 other employees that strive everyday to provide customer the best quality and the best service!

At Johnson's On The Water you'll find that we are just like our customers. When we are not working we are in our boats and on the water ourselves. We understand the importance of providing quality service as we want that for our own boats and pontoons. Here you will be brining your investment to a company that considereds each other a family, not just co-workers.
